The Northern Kittitas County Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. 
 
MISSION
To further the preservation and dissemination of Northern Kittitas County history by such means deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors, including cooperation with other societies and organizations with like interests and goals.
 
HISTORY
Founded in 1966, NKCHS is dedicated to increasing awareness of local history and its future impact on our community.  Our properties include the Carpenter House Museum and the Telephone Museum.
